Privacy Policy

Elenion displays social-proof notifications using the minimum data necessary. Our data practices, in plain language:

• Shopper data we store: first name and city only — never full names, emails, addresses, or payment details. Store owners can switch on full anonymization (“Someone in Austin”).
• Visitor identity: we never store IP addresses. Visitor counts use a salted one-way hash that rotates daily and cannot be reversed.
• Real data only: notifications reflect real events. Demo mode is always visibly labeled “Demo”.
• Retention: event data is purged on a rolling window per plan; account deletion removes all associated data (GDPR/CCPA erasure).
